Mitch and Renae have been involved with many community
organizations in the Marshfield, WI area including
the Boy Scouts, Heart of Wisconsin Sweet Adelines Chorus,
Altrusa-Service organization, Pathway Partners mentoring
program, and the Marshfield Curling Club. Their love
of horses, heart for children, and belief in the activities
planned at Jeremiah's Crossing lead them to become
board members. They are involved in many projects at
the ranch.
Sandra Leitch has a degree in Accounting from Owens
College located in Toledo, Ohio. She has been with
Keys Accounting & Tax Service, in Key Largo, FL,
since February 1986. She is enrolled to practice before
the Internal Revenue Service, nationally accredited
in Accountancy and Taxation, an accredited tax advisor
and also is licensed as a condominium manager. Sandi
became involved with Jeremiah's Crossing because she
believes there is a definite need to try to reach children
while there is still hope. The idea of Equine
Therapy is an amazing way to accomplish that need. The
kids need the horses as much as the horses need the
kids. "What a bond." She feels God has led her
to Jeremiah's Crossing to offer what knowledge she
can. Sandi believes He will do amazing things
at the ranch through the Harris Family.

currently
employed as a 911 dispatcher for the Decorah Police
Department and
Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office.
Terry apprenticed under Dave Plekan for
general
horse training and equine knowledge. Terry and Sara
both enjoy
animals and the outdoors. They currently
reside in Decorah, Iowa with Jake (their dog),
Missy, and Little Budweiser (their cats)! They look
forward
to sharing in the rehabilitation of
children and animals and are eager to
see Jeremiah's
Crossing succeed.
Brenda is a strong supporter of Jeremiah's Crossing
because of her faith, that God will be glorified through
the hard work and caring mission of the ranch. Through
personal experience Brenda knows how important it is
for children to have emotional, physical and educational
support. She believes the early years for children
are the most important in teaching and engraining strong
morals and values that will be relied on as they mature
as young adults.
The founders of Jeremiah's Crossing, the Harris's
have been involved in the ranch since its inception.
They believe that they have been called to serve children
in their community. They find inspiration in Jeremiah
29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares
the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah
29:11 (NIV) The Harris's live on the ranch and
have taken the lead in development and day to day operations.
